The preview series officially rolls to a stop for this season — there are no major road races left in the calendar, and so the peloton, like us, takes a breath. But don’t worry: the series will return in January, right when the Tour Down Under opens the curtain on a brand-new year of racing.
So, in this week’s preview, we’re taking a slightly different turn — a look ahead at what’s coming over the final months of the year, and what you can expect from us here at VeloStatistics.
🗓 The Schedule for the Final Months
🚴 Cycling Pantheon
Our Cycling Pantheon series will continue uninterrupted throughout these “race-free” months. Every Tuesday, we’ll keep adding one more legendary name to the hall — heroes of the past, icons of the present, and a few forgotten giants who deserve their place in cycling history.
📊 Previews & Recaps
Both the preview and recap series will return in January, timed perfectly with the start of the new season. Expect the same mix of stats, history, and story that you’ve come to know — only sharper, deeper, and more data-driven than ever.
📚 From The Vault
Our From The Vault series will remain a monthly tradition, appearing on the last day of each month. It’s our chance to open the bookshelf, blow off the dust, and revisit cycling’s printed past.
💡 Year-End Specials
In November and December, we’ll also publish several long-form (paid) specials — deep analytical essays exploring the sport’s greatest questions and debates. We’re still finalizing topics, so tell us what you would like to see covered.
You can already look forward to one major feature: a comprehensive analysis on who truly is the greatest time trialist of all time.
