Mur de Huy Set for Another Thrilling Flèche Wallonne Finale
Since 1985, the infamous Mur de Huy has been the iconic backdrop for the dramatic conclusion of the Flèche Wallonne, and this year promises another gripping showdown on the steep climb. As the peloton makes its way through the Ardennes, it all comes down to the final ascent, where the battle for supremacy will unfold.
All eyes will be on Julian Alaphilippe and Tadej Pogacar. The charismatic Frenchman, a three-time winner of the race (2018, 2019, 2021), is chasing a fourth victory. This would bring him just one shy of the legendary Alejandro Valverde’s record of five wins.
